For the work Sue Me I stole pictures others have taken of me as a model and reshaped them to my own pleasure. The series also consists of eight self-portraits copying poses others have asked me to do.
110,520 hours. Or 12 years, 7 months, and 8 days. That is the exact amount of days separating these two photographs - the first picture taken of me as a model in 2009 (Babybird) and the last picture taken of me as a model in 2022 (Sinner/Zalando).
The two photographs were shown 1369.19 kilometres apart at two simultaneous SWIT Platform group shows in Gallery FG2 in Gothenburg and Chippendale Studios in Milan.
Marie F and Matilde S is the ongoing artistic collaboration between Marie Flarup Kristensen and Matilde Søes Rasmussen (2018-2023). Installation at GlogauAiR international Art Program Berlin 2020.

Danish-swedish artist and writer based in Hamburg (DE). With my own body appearing simultaneously in front of and behind the camera I explore the commodification of the human body in text, photography and film.
BFA in Fine Art Photography from HDK-Valand Academy of Art and Design in Gothenburg and currently studying an MFA at the HFBK University of Fine Arts Hamburg.
Recently I have participated in residencies at NARS Foundation NYC, the International Writers Workshop in Hong Kong, and GlogauAiR Berlin and exhibited at venues such as Kunsthal Aarhus, Centrum För Fotografi, Landskrona Foto Festival, Nordic Light Photo Festival and Bladr Copenhagen.
